MOHAWK 2.0 x 5/8 RECEIVER HITCH
Our Mohawk 2.0 x 5/8 shackle receiver features a narrower mounting width designed specifically for UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and smaller 5/8" shackle ears, while still allowing the use of larger 3/4" shackles. It’s warm drop-forged from premium 6082 aluminum, stronger and more corrosion-resistant than standard 6061-T6 and forged to align the grain structure for maximum strength, resulting in a 7,000 lb working load limit and 35,000 lb minimum breaking strength.
Dual hitch pin holes provide two receiver mounting positions for greater compatibility with any 2" hitch setup. A third hitch pin hole and included spacer let you rotate the receiver 90°, enabling hitch ball use with a 3/4" shank for towing up to 3,500 lbs (300 lb tongue weight), compatible with Class I/II hitch balls.
Unlike typical receivers with sharp edges that damage soft shackles and straps, the Mohawk 2.0 x 5/8 features a large radiused mounting hole to minimize abrasion and extend gear life. Its spined outer perimeter adds strength where it matters most while giving the Mohawk its bold, aggressive look.

Each shackle includes two 1.0mm, two 2.0mm and two 3.0mm nylon Rattle Rings isolator washers to center the unit on your bumper mounts or gussets, and the split shackle® hooks are fully coated in our signature finishes — interchangeable with other colorways for a custom look. The Nickel-plated Grade 8 carbon steel pin is held in place by dual M14 cap screws, making install easy with just a ¼" ratchet — no weird tools needed. Bonus: you only need to remove one screw to attach or detach from your rig.

The "Raw Dog" uncoated option is ready to add primer and paint or powder coating so you can color match your vehicle or just add any finish of your choosing. Only the Jowl® hooked bodies should be powder coated, not the pin. Coating the pin will hinder the assembly functionality.
